About THE PROGRAM

Music Matters PULSE is a music and health exchange program between the Norwegian Band Federation (NMF) and the Field Band Foundation, funded by NOREC. The program explores the close relationship between music-making and health, focusing on how musical participation can promote wellbeing and social inclusion across different communities.

Through the exchange of Norwegian and South African professionals, PULSE creates space for sharing experiences, building new knowledge, and developing practical techniques that can be used in both organisations and beyond.
